Founded in 1882, Dante Studies is the premier journal devoted to Dante in the English-speaking world.
Dante Studies accepts submissions in English or Italian on subjects connected with Dante's life, works, influence, and critical reception. We welcome all methodological and theoretical approaches. Please send submissions by e-mail attachment in Word format to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submissions will normally be reviewed by members of the Editorial Board within four to six weeks of receipt. Dante Studies follows a policy of double-blind review of all submissions. Authors should avoid self-references on the title page and in both the argument and the endnotes.
The Board is presently accepting essays for the 2017 issue (volume 135). The latest issue in print is 2016 (volume 134).
For preparation of manuscripts, consult the Dante Studies Style Sheet.
