In addition to annual membership dues, the Dante Society depends on the generosity of members and friends who make special contributions to help sustain and advance the Society's mission to encourage the study and appreciation of the time, life, works, and cultural legacy of Dante Alighieri.
The Society welcomes contributions from members and non-members alike according to the following needs and annual donor recognition categories. Gifts may be made by credit card through our secure online contribution form (member login required) or by calling our publisher, Johns Hopkins University Press, toll free at (800) 548-1784 (or 410-516-6987 outside the USA and Canada) during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm EST. Donations may also be sent by check made payable to the "Dante Society of America, Inc." to: Michael Sherberg, Treasurer / The Dante Society of America / P.O. Box 600800 / Newtonville, MA 02460.
